Small Update on 11/30: With the holidays in full swing, unsurprisingly progress is a little slow. Got a few gestures done figuring out a few perils for the Deep Forest in between everything going on.
First gesture set is for the Mangrove path with a floating seed that the party would have to navigate around and avoid getting hit by it. The next is a plant pod that lurks on the muddy floor of the mangrove path which is half submerged underwater. The last is a potential enemy based on a horse conch that would absorb a party member and add it to their shell as a stored mana battery.
The second set of gestures is for the Canopy path with the first being a plant pod that descends onto the party member after they've swung across the gap via a vine. The next would be a party member mistaking a vine for a snake tail that coils around them and drags them up further into the canopy to hypnotize them for later. The last is a weak branch that breaks when the party member lands which causes a frog to snatch them out of the air with their tongue to soft vore the party member for an easy mana battery.

Hello Everyone!
Last week was sort of a bust when it came to artwork. Being the last week of parental leave was all about adjusting the schedule to best fit the lack of time off to recuperate each week so artwork was mostly just rough gestures and lots of idea planning.
I'm hoping to get back into artwork again soon here but we are also entering the family related holiday season starting next week in addition to the major project at work launching later in December which is taking a lot of time as well.
Progress may slow here in the next month but with that also comes time off so I am hoping to get things done during those breaks and in the meantime but progress will slow to what I expected it would have been with the kiddo arriving.
What is currently being planned worked on:
-Selena's Maid Tracker: After completing the Khrono Tomb, Selena's tent will have an "!" appear where a small event will play out where she has developed a "Maid Tracker" which tells the player where Maids are located that they haven't rescued. If for whatever reason a Maid was skipped (Moira) the tracker will give you a location and a rough description of where they are. This will constantly be updated as new maids will be added and other unlocks occur. This event would trigger the per-requisites for the sub, mini-zones described below.
-New Mini-Zone - The Deep Forest: This zone would be unlocked after you complete the Khrono Tomb and restore the Khrono Manor to the point where you can access the rest of the manor (Not Currently Implemented). It would be accessed by going to the back of the manor to the courtyard in the back where the intro scene took place with the Mana Barrier Lantern mishap. By going beyond the barrier you would go into The Deep Forest where it is an uncharted wilderness filled with extremely dangerous Monsters and situations for three mages to be looking for lost Maids. The current start of the zone would be as follows:
*On Map Event - Fairy Circle: The party would come across a fairy circle of flowers. Upon standing in the middle the party would be knocked out by a sleep spore trap set up by some fairies. They would then strip the party, seal their magic, then dump them deep within the forest where they would need to escape. The party would have several paths to pick to try and escape their predicament which lead to different types of perils:
-Mangrove Swamp: The party would navigate a chest high water area where things lurking in the sand would capture them (Plant Pods, Flounder (soft vore) fish, mangrove root seeds, etc)
-Amazon Tribe: The party would navigate a heavily trapped area set up by an Amazon Tribe who catch trespassers and monsters in their zone. (Net Traps, snare traps, pitfall traps, etc)
-Canopy Path: The party would navigate the upper canopy of the forest to avoid the dangerous monsters below. Using puzzle solving to pick the right path could also result in falling into the monsters below along with perils in the canopy itself (Frogs, vines, chameleons (above) / dangerous monsters (below)
-Swarm Type Enemy Path: The party would navigate a path that is littered with small, swarming enemies that stack several peril states on the party quickly but need several more than usual to take the party down. Upon fully capturing the party it would summon their larger leader who finishes the job. (Potentials: Small goblins/leader, small spiders/leader, small bees/queen)
-New Mini-Zone - The Deep Underground Chamber: This zone would be unlocked after you unlock Selena's Maid Tracker. Selena's tracker would lead you back to the Breeding Chamber where the party discovers it has reactivated and captures the party. This section would be a 'playable' game over where you would wander around a new mini-zone infected by the Breeding Chamber trying to escape and also rescue the maid trapped deep within.
Feel free to offer any suggestions or comments on these mini zones as they would mostly consist of battle sprites/on map images that could be handled in smaller chunks than a full zone (especially the Deep Forest).
Hopefully we'll be back with the On Map Images of the Collective Mothership soon, just a few hurdles to hop over first.
