[EN] Playtests Dream Battles

Here we go, the test version of Dream Battles is available.

As a reminder, participation is open to all members, on the sole condition that they are present on Discord to simplify feedback and discussions. If you want to participate just say so in the Member or Devtalk channel.

We are opening this test to everyone in order to get a maximum of feedback, which would not be possible only with the VIP Tier.

Foreword

The objective of this test phase is to check that the Dream Battles are an enjoyable challenge, that the ability tree is working properly and that it offers interesting upgrades.

For your information, everything is not yet finished with the interface (window sizes, icons...). However, if something seems really weird, don't hesitate to tell us.

If you want to help us as much as possible, please read the following and if you have any problem, don't hesitate to let us know.

Test Version

The test version is limited to the hero’s room. You have all the Tokens that a player who has completed all the episodes at 100% should have (the next episode 5 2/2 included).

If you wish, you can copy your "Option" file as usual to have your usual options (no need to copy "Save", it's useless).

Note that nothing is saved when you quit, so remember to copy the seeds of the builds you find interesting and don't hesitate to share them.

The ability tree

Explanations on how the tree works are included in the game. Here is some additional information:

• You can copy your seed with the "C" button next to Kyle's portrait and paste a seed with the "P" button (to share it on Discord or write it down, copy with "C" and paste it with a simple "ctrl+V").
• By the buttons near the X to close the menu is the "N" button. This button is used to change the display mode: "N" for Normal and "A" for Advanced. Note that in Advanced mode the game does not display an alert if you remove an ability that disables others.

As with the ability tree, explanations are in the game.

To access the Dream Battles, click on the bed and choose "Access the DreamWorld" then "Battle".

What feedback should I give you?

Share anything with us, the more feedback we get, the more we can improve things.

If you don't know where to start, here's what you can talk to us about:

• Did you understand how the ability tree works? What do you think about it? Is it too complex? Too simple?
• Do the abilities seem interesting to you? Do they seem balanced?
• Did you win the Dream Battles? Was each opponent strong enough? Too strong/weak?

But once again, all your feedback is welcome.
