Modification of the Weekly News

Before talking about what has been done this week, a quick word on the Weekly News 😊

As you may have noticed, since last week the Weekly News are now reserved for Patrons only.

This is a change we decided to make for several reasons, the main ones being:

• The fact that we haven't been able to make it interesting to those who don't already follow the game. Few people came to see the Weekly News on Itch and although there were more people coming from twitter, there was very little interaction.
• Also, in an effort to not spoil the game to future players, we were vague in some of our words which made it difficult for us to put content into the news and for those who follow the project, the news lacked interest.
• Finally we wanted to make the first level of pledge more interesting.

That's why we decided to focus only on you: those who support us. The Weekly News will now be accessible to all Patrons from $1 and up, so that we can be more relevant and interesting.

Progress Update

This week we finished the first background, it allowed us to check if what we wanted for the interior of Warehouse 7 looked good. Result: the result is very satisfying, we managed to make the interior atmosphere at night with a little touch of blue that we wanted.

The rest of the week was used to start setting up the scene for the end of episode 4. It's really a big job but after the first tests, we're convinced that the final result will be great!

And finally, an information that will make a lot of people happy: we've made good progress in the design of the replay system that will allow you to replay just the wanted episodes to complete them at 100% rather than starting all over again. If all goes well, the system should be present in version 0.4.0. It will allow Patrons to replay any present and future episode, where the public version (and future public versions) will only allow to replay episode 1 (and maybe episode 2, we're still thinking about it, feel free to give your opinion).

Character Tournament Results

After seven weeks of voting, the tournament has come to an end!

The two characters that will be added to the game are Madison and Kato!

Thank you all for your participation, we hope you've all enjoyed it. From our side it was very interesting to see your choices and even more to listen to your explanations for your preferences.

We wish you happy holidays and we'll be back with a little surprise for Christmas 😉
