Marcus Grant - 43 years old

BACKGROUND

Head of the Sunrise City Criminal Section, Marcus is a true legend of the Onyx Academy and his name is known to the highest circles. Good-natured and protective, he fights against the city's shadowy side to keep a promise made years ago. A true leader, he is a simple man who tries to be an example after having had a hectic youth.

PERSONALITY

Character: A true cheerful dad, Marcus is much more serious when it comes to enforcing the law. However, he knows that not everything is black or white and is very wise in his choices.
Qualities: Courageous and charismatic, he is a true leader appreciated by others.  Rebellious and party-loving when he was young, he didn't lose that little spark that makes him a "bon vivant".
Flaws: With age, he has become more strict and too considerate with those he cares about, even if it means suffocating them a little... a lot...
Difficulties: Because his job brings him into contact with the dark side of Sunrise City, he tends to work alone and take all the risks.
Skills: A true legend of the Onyx battle section, graduated top 1, he is an excellent fighter, strong and resistant, but also a very good investigator.
Motivations: He promised to protect the city to one of his former classmates, a promise he plans to keep even more since he started a family.
What he likes: His daughter, waffles and old movies.
What he hates: Dancing, his diet for his health and rats.

SOCIAL STATUS

Wealth: Marcus has nothing to complain about, he has everything he needs to take care of his family and godchild. Far from being rich, he is a smart person who knows how to live simply.
Status: Married
Employment: He is the head of the Sunrise City Criminal Section. At first a simple inspector in this small division, he was promoted to the head of the division after having succeeded in stopping the terrible "Killer 77".
Housing: He lives in a pretty house in the suburbs of Sunrise City.

RELATIONS

Family: Happily married for 20 years, he has a 19-year-old daughter as stubborn as him, who gives him a hard time. He took Kyle in after his parents died in the Horizon Pole incident and treats him like his son.
Friends: Not surrounded by many people because of his work so as not to put anyone in danger, Marcus often spends his time alone at the Nighty's.
Love: Married to Coralie, she is the only one who knows how to manage her dynamic husband.
Enemies: Between his studies at Onyx and his job as an inspector, Marcus made many enemies. The most formidable of all was the "Killer 77", fortunately behind bars.
