Thank you for all 4 video's on While my guitar gently weeps' Rob - Super helpful in breaking it down, and having compared it note by note with other tabs un Ultimate guitar or Method I believe yours are much more accurate (and logical). Once I master this one, any suggested next song / lesson?

Hey Jim, it helps to use a guitar with les paul style pickups, humbuckers/p90s. The PV classic 30 is all tube, so you’re good in the amp department. You want to use a generous amount of overdrive (tube screamers rock) but not so much that it sounds over saturated and modern. Lastly, you certainly want to use a good bit of reverb and a touch of chorus. I always leave my tone knobs on my guitar at zero and add extra bass boost and mids on the amplifier. My ear tends to favor warmer tones, which is reflected in this performance.

Hi. Could you talk about how you got the tone? What amp settings, pedals effects, whatnot? Nothing digital in my house but I've got got a delay pedal, tubescreamer, wah, phaser peavey classic 30 valve amp, strat and les paul. Would like to get as close as I can. thanks.

I'm really struggling to sustain on the high bends. I've read about radius and all that, but I'm guessing it's technique because I've managed it a couple times. Can you give some tips on that? I'm playing a Gibson midnight special. Not the best guitar in the world, but not a bad one. I've also turnup my gain and volume all the way. I am able to hold big bends for a longer time on lower frets. Especially the main lick with the A->C bend always gets choked

Great lesson! Is there any chance you will do the lead for the rest of the song, to be honest the solo is easier for me than the regular lead parts. Even though the regular lead parts might be easier, I can't figure out what shapes I should be using rather than random finger positioning.
