"Tears in Heaven" Guitar Lesson - Eric Clapton - Part 2

Hello friends,

and welcome to the second installment of my two part series on Eric Clapton's "Tears in Heaven." In this session we'll be learning how to play the fingerstyle techniques for the instrumental, bridge, and outro sections. For faster results, be sure to practice each section slowly, being sure to get quality repetitions until each measure is committed to muscle memory. Let's get started!

Note

This video is still under review and not available to the general public.

Great lesson Rob. Would it be possible to provide a GP7 file, please? They're so much easier to follow. Many thanks.

The tabs for Tears in Heaven show finger and fret positions which I can follow fine. I could strictly just use only those fingers when picking. You chose to do full chord shapes and barre shapes. Is that just a personal thing or is there an advantage?

Rob, just getting my head around tablature...

Just when I think the lessons can't get any better, you come out with another winner..... Thanks and PEACE
