How to Finish a Blues Guitar Solo w/ 3 Impressive licks!

Hello friends,

And welcome back to Swiftlessons for another lead guitar tutorial. In today’s session I’ll be breaking down three impressive licks that you can use to finish a blues guitar solo. These phrases are excellent for players hoping to expand their lick vocabulary outside of the typical pentatonic scale, as they demonstrate how melodic ideas can be formed by following the chord progression in various positions across the fretboard. Let’s get started!

Hey, Rob, this lesson is starting to pull together a lot of cool stuff for me. Love learning where and how these chord shapes work going up the neck. I'm always intrigued by how much melody we can get from two strings. Is is fair to say that any solo by itself can be become the basis of a song melody? Thanks for expanding the mind!

great tutorial..
