Passenger "Let Her Go" Chord Sheet & Tab

Hello friends,

Many of you have requested that I add some more current or contemporary music to this page. While I do tend to favor the classics, I have found a number of newer songs that I'm anxious to break down for you.

In preparation for my upcoming lesson on Passenger's 2012 hit "Let Her Go," I've created a full tab, chord sheet and strumming guide. This tune features a beautiful finger-picking intro which I think many of you will enjoy learning. Let's see what you can get down using my transcription, then we'll refine each section with my video tutorial later in the week. Enjoy!

Rob, would you consider putting up a lesson on “Here comes The Sun “ By George Harrison. I really love this piece, but find the strum and timing quite challenging. Your lessons have reignited my pleasure and interest in the guitar, so thank you for the work you do. I live way down under in Aus, so you are really reaching a worldwide audience! Cheers, Bob Hopkins

Bingo! That's the issue guitarist always run into when using a capo and discussing changes with other instrumentalist, having to transpose the chord changes to suit the actual key they playing in, and not the shapes. I always just look at the root notes of each chord for super quick transposition.

It's ok I get it, capo 7th fret...Duh.

Rob, thanks for this PDF, lovely song. I'm a bit of a novice so excuse my confusion, however the PDF chord structure seems to be in the key of C major. Am I missing something as the note at the top says Key of G. I know the original version was in G. Appreciate your work.

Rob, this song will be a great addition! It will be a challenge for me, but I love the song and look forward to learning it. Thanks for your very thorough lessons. They have helped bring my guitar playing to a new level.

Let me know if there is a better place to communicate with you on a general question like this. I realize this section is for the specific lesson you posted. When I search on your channel, I find the lesson but I am trying to get to it on the Patron page so I can get the PDF. I think your answer described that part but I am not sure I am able to follow it on the page. Thanks for the prompt reply.

Hey Andrew, thanks for the support and the great question. The simple way to find what you're looking for is to use my search bar on the YouTube channel, and look down in the description to find the videos corresponding patreon link. You can also go to the post page, and use the tags on the left hand side of the page, you be able to isolate lessons by band name, subject, or month created. I hope this was helpful. P.S if you come across a YouTube video without a link, it could mean that I missed it or it pre-dates this patreon page, let me know so I can fix it.

Rob. How do I find a specific lesson from the past? I'm new to Patreon and so far the only way I know is to scroll through until I find it.
