Hallelujah - Leonard Cohen/Jeff Buckley Easy Guitar Lesson (No Capo)

Hello friends,

Welcome back to Swiftlessons for another beginner level guitar tutorial. For today's session, I have broken down the chord changes and theory behind Leonard Cohen's 1984 classic "Hallelujah." To help you with your rendition, I have added a tablature demonstrating fingerpicking/rhythm options. Let's get started!

P.S. As requested, this is an update to one of my first YouTube tutorials. I expect to shoot a remake for "Hallelujah" in the near future, would you prefer a lesson in this style or one breaking down Jeff Buckley's technique? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks.

Great song and since you asked, my request would be for more details on Jeff Buckley’s version. Thank you!

Hey Roy, just added this, thanks for the reminder! -Rob

Please post the tab for this song.

Can I have the tab?

Rob, did you ever do a lesson on the finger picking technique for this song?

Rob, is this tab still available? I have your "Your First Repertoire" ebook, but I only see Hound Dog, Stand by Me, You Ain't Goin' Nowhere, Brown Eyed Girl, and Let it Be. Thanks for all you do!

Hey Lew, that tab is included in my first repertoire ebook. I'll get that sheet to you ASAP. I'll have a new lesson on the finger picking techniques very soon.
