Regarding the English Release

Thank you so much for your continued support of The Flower Princess of Sylph.

As of January 22, 2025, the English version of the commercial edition of The Flower Princess of Sylph is now available on BOOK WALKER Global Store.

The volumes originally published by KADOKAWA (Volumes 1 to 3) will be released sequentially. Each episode is available for viewing at a cost of 1.99$.

Currently, I am using X. Since my days of commercial serialization, I have been fortunate to see an increase in followers from overseas, especially from English-speaking regions. I have also received many reactions to my illustrations and animations, which I truly appreciate.

Additionally, I was deeply moved and grateful when supporters on Fanbox said, "I can't read Japanese, but I'm cheering for you." Their warm encouragement has been incredibly heartwarming.

Given this situation, I consulted with the editor who supported me during the serialization about the possibility of releasing an English version of The Flower Princess of Sylph. As a result, the English version will now be distributed on BOOK WALKER Global Store.

I am aware that there are requests for a printed edition as well, but at present, such a release would be difficult unless there is an offer from an overseas publisher. I sincerely hope this work catches the attention of international publishers and creates an opportunity for print publication.

Now, regarding the independent serialization version, I am also planning to release English translations for volumes 4 and onward.

For this project, I plan to personally commission a translator to work on the English version. Since the translator for this version will be different from the one for the commercial series, it will be necessary to carefully ensure consistency in the translation. Therefore, the translation of volumes 4 and onward will begin only after the English version of volume 3 has been released on the BOOK WALKER Global Store.

I apologize for the wait regarding the translations of the independently serialized volumes and hope for your understanding in this matter.

2025年1月22日よりBOOK WALKER Global Storeにて商業版シルフの花姫の英訳配信が開始されました。ここではKADOKAWAより出版された1巻〜3巻を順次配信予定です。1エピソードずつの配信で閲覧するためには1.99ドルかかります。

現在、私はXを利用しています。商業連載の頃からありがたいことに海外からのフォロワーが増え、とりわけ英語圏の方々が多い印象です。また、投稿したイラストやアニメーションに対して多くの反応をいただけるようになりました。

さらに、「日本語は読めないけれど応援しています」とファンボックスを支援してくださる方もおり、その温かい応援にとても驚き、感謝しております。

こうした状況を受け、『シルフの花姫』の英訳版を出せないかと思い、連載中にお世話になった編集担当者に相談しました。その結果、BOOK WALKER Global Storeでの英訳配信が実現する運びとなりました。

紙媒体での出版を望む声があることも承知しておりますが、現時点では海外の出版社からオファーがない限り、紙媒体での出版は難しいとのことです。海外の出版社様の目に留まり、出版の機会が訪れることを願っております。

さて、今度は自主連載版の話になりますが、4巻以降の英訳も予定しております。

こちらは、私が個人的に翻訳者の方へ依頼し、英訳を進めていく予定です。

商業版の翻訳者と別の方になりますので、齟齬がないよう慎重に翻訳していく必要があります。そのため4巻以降の翻訳はBOOK WALKER Global Storeにて3巻の英訳配信がされた後に始めていきます。

自主連載分の翻訳につきましては、お待たせしてしまうことになりますがご了承頂けましたら幸いです。
