Yeeey Jayne! Honestly your comments make all the effort I'm putting into my episodes worth it :')
Yeah, I didn't wanted it to be too traumatic since this is still a RomCom lol. At the same time I feel like it's more realistic and it shows that even woman in their 30's+ have often struggle to show who they are and need to lie to their family their entire life.
Ah love reading your analysis of the scene, makes me feel like my writing is way better than it actually is hahahaha :'D
The next two episodes will be particularly interesting when it comes to Blaze's reaction trust me c:

Let us hope that next half is Blaze calling Holly a fool, telling her she still want to date her, and finally getting this ship on its sails!! The emotional baggage will not stop this!

Aaaaaaah, I love it so much!
I'll admit, I kinda thought...Holly's situation was more dire? Not to diminish the very real trauma of having a sibling holding the threat of outing you to your family over your head, but for some reason I'd assumed at the start of the storyline that she'd already been disowned or something. This isn't an ideal situation, but it's much more stable than I thought'd it be.
In terms of Holly and Blaze, it is, of course, adorable. I love that Holly was panicking because she was worried about Blaze and whether it was right to get involved with her when she (Holly) knew there'd likely be family drama in the future. It shows that she's secure in her own identity, and isn't worried about herself being hurt so much as what it might do to others. And she shows again just how much she's into Blaze, though less aggressively this time.
And I'm really anticipating Blaze's reaction here, though I can guess what it's going to be. It's a reversal of Blaze's earlier misunderstanding, where here it's her turn to set Holly straight in an aggressively sweet (and sweetly aggressive >:3) manner. Blaze definitely doesn't seem like the type of person to shy away from dealing with a partner's issues, at least when she feels they're worth it. (which she clearly does about Holly)
<3/10 would instaclick to read again.
