Notes From the Front Lines

The following is a guest post from our beloved Ms.O:

I’ve been on the front lines in search of new connections, sparks, and delicious moments. (This has come with both blushing nights under the stars, and such big eye rolls I think I’ve seen my brain a few times.)

Here are some notes I’ve taken recently while documenting this experience…

• Pretty girls telling me they love my hair is the best part of being in crowded places.
• I hate that I still go along when someone ambushes me asking for a phone number (on the street). I could recognize it right away, but still freeze in the moment. I need to have a way to say "this is a lovely moment and I don't want to take it any further".
• How people smell is a huge part of whether I'm attracted to someone or not. It's not a matter of "bad" smell, it's just something that prevents me from relaxing into it.
• Always meet the exes or girlfriends a man says are "crazy" or "unreasonable". Maybe he's the shitty non-communicative liar?
• I now know I want to be hit higher on my butt than the crease. Yes, I will bruise in the crease because of thinner skin there, but it's not the deep ache of the butt bruise.
• I really do need a vibe to get off without oral clitoral stimulation.
• Recognizing that we both need water and not pausing to reach over for it at the nightstand table because it's "too far" is my new favourite thing (but also, food and water and rest are so important because wow I know I'll be wrecked for the full day after but oh yes worth it).
• I really love women. And find them so sexy and attractive and interesting and magical.
• Sometimes I strangely find myself attracted to a specific man…
• And then half the time I get whiplash when I find out more about him. Just no. Why even?
• I love feeling and seeing marks on me from a great night - still keep thinking about last weekend with a smile…
• My god how can a guy cum and still keep going?! For hours?
• Also, is the fact he said he had to finally tap out a good thing or a bad thing?
• Maybe not bad because this was not the end of it? Probably most queer-coded sex with a man l've had in a very very long time. Hm.
• Such a good kisser.
• Good kissing is most important.
• Why is it that middle aged white men with stubble are terrible kissers? Were they always this bad? Is someone teaching them the same move?
• The man licking around my mouth and then sticking his tongue out (sort of into? my mouth?) and then just holding it there? (is it a fish move?) My god. Why?
• Also, I think the other similar-looking dude did the same thing to me last time. Staaahp.
• I fucking love to dance.
• Full moon at a party is a vibe.
• Now l want to be hit with a chain.
• I love avocado toast in all permutations.
• The hot lifeguard girl telling me she loves everything about me (hair, swimsuit, tattoos) is my best moment and makes me feel like I made it.
