HP: The Other Potter! Ch.11

Chapter 11

CHARLUS POTTER

The sheer volume of the attacks on the Muggle that had made it to the Daily Prophet, or in the DMLE reports, was surprising and spoke of a much greater problem than he had initially envisioned.

And now as he sat infront of one of the victims of these attacks he was even more angry and distraught. Mr. And Mrs. Andrews were a simple muggle family living in one of the more secluded area just outside of London, and had been one of the unlisted victims of these Death Eater attacks.

They had a daughter, a teen just around Alden’s age and as he stared at the pale and shaking form of her, he could clearly see just what was done to her.

“You said you are from the Police,” Mr. Andrews questioned from the side and he nodded.

“Yes, I am,” he said and despite showing a badge the parents were still cautious.

“I am a part of a special team set up to investigate these constant new fires,” he said. The Obliviators had done their work already, and this incident had bene painted as a single accident in which one of the stoves had left on overnight causing an explosion yet he was not blind to what this was.

It was magic. All magic, and not just any magic. This was the work of dark magic, the kinds of which he had not seen since the end of the war.

“About damn time. Hald the Houses around the street have been attacked and the fire was bad enough that it completely burnt Miss Stokes’s daughter,” Mrs. Andrews added, and he gulped down getting angry at the DMLE incompetence.

“These are no firees...”

“Andrew,” Mrs. Andrew cut him off and he looked towards the older muggle who was flushed in rage.

“What?” he said turning towards his wife.

“I am telling you this is not the work of a damned leak. How convenient that all the Houses in the area had the same problem. The government is hiding something from u...” and as the couple began to argue infront of him, he felt the clear signs of apparition around the area.

Immediately he perked up and rose to his feet.

“Are you already done?” Mrs. Andrews asked, and he nodded.

“Yes, I have all the information I needed. I will be in contact with you as soon as I have anything,” and with that he walked out of the house, wand in hand and as he stepped into the curb, he did not miss half a dozen cloaks figures laughing and walking towards in the neighbourhood.

“Mr. Andrews, I believe it would be best if you locked the doors carefully,” and with that he cast a small compulsion charm on the man, forcing him to lock the door as he cast a disillusionment charm on himself and began to follow the robed men who had just appeared.

ALDEN POTTER

Alden found himself face to face with Victoria, and in his stupor he had completely missed her approach him from behind.

“What are you doing here, Victoria?” he questioned curtly, and saw the dark haired girl raise a brow.

“I should be the one asking you that,” she replied, as she turned towards the place from where her own housemates had vanished.

“Spying on my housemates, I wonder how they will react to that,” she ventured and he perked up at that.

“We both know they wouldn’t be able to make a move against me,” he said with a scoff and she smiled.

“Ohh, I know that. None of them would last a minute against you, but who said anything about going after you,” she remarked, and his lips thinned in an instant.

“Afterall, we snakes can be quite deceptive,” she threatened and he was not lost to implications. The Slytherin all knew by now that they did not stand a chance against him, so they would go after someone else, someone associated with him.

“You would not dare,” he challenged.

“Ohh, but I would,” she said and truth is he did not know for sure what she was capable of.

“You knew of your housemates’s late night adventures, yet you denied any knowledge of them when I asked you about them before,” and she rolled her eyes.

“And why do you think I did so?” she asked with a smirk.

“Because you were a part of them,” he snarled in frustration, getting angry at himself for being duped by her.

Victoria Parkinson was his senior by a year and had been quite a surprise in his life. Famous for

“Gosh. Of course not,” she replied with a frown.

“I would never debase myself with them. No, I did so because I was protecting you, you damn idiot,” she said as she looked him in the eye. Her blue eyes, shined in the light.

“I do not need your protection,” he said long tired of this discussion, and as he was about to walk away, she stopped him, as she held his arm.

“Ohh, but you do. Do you have any idea of what you are involving yourself in. Any Idea! The person behind them, just how powerful he is,” she asked and his eyes narrowed.

“I know much more than you think, Victoria. And if you ever thought such a thing was going to stop me, then you knew me even less than you think,” he said as he pulled his arm from her grip.

“Of course I knew that. It was why I tried my best to keep you away from all such filth,” she said, and he frowned, anger bubbling for her and himself at those words.

“What do you mean?”

“I was trying to protect you. I know that you do not agree with them and their point of view, but I would never let you put yourself in danger because of some horrid muggles, why would their lives matter to me over yours and mine own,” and he was stilled at those words, angry at the side of Victoria he had never seen.

Victoria Parkinson was one of his mysterious seniors, who had approached.

“How could you think like that? What they are doing to the muggles is abhorrent, and you believe that we should do nothing, that I should do nothing,” he gasped out.

“I am not saying that we should do nothing. But why should you have to be the savior of the whole world, why cannot Dumbledore and the Ministry handle that. You were supposed to be mine. Mine,” she said powerfully.

“Until you betrayed me for that harlot,” she said through gritted teeth.

“I did not betray you,” he said and she scoffed.

“Yeah, is that why the Blacks have approached your family for a betrothal. From what I know they even sent a formal letter to your mother despite their jaded history,” she added, surprising him just how much she knew.

“You broke up with me, you. Not me,” he snarled.

“After you betr...” and suddenly the air around the clearing crackled one more and he turned towards the clearing and found only two of the initial six appearing back on the grounds, both seemingly injured.

LUCIUS MALFOY

Lucius Malfoy and the rest of his group vanished from the Hogwarts grounds using the special portkey given to them by their Lord as they appeared in a Muggle neighbourhood, an all too familiar muggle neighbourhood.

“Gosh! I have been wishing to let out some stress. McGonagall asked me to rewrite my assignment on switching charms, saying that I had made a junior do it for me,” Yaxley snarled as he looked at the muggle Houses with a hungry look.

“Should we go visit the Andrews, I quite like it there,” and the rest of the group laughed at that joke.

“Nahh, I am in the mood of trying something new,” and with that they walked up to one of the muggle Houses and Yaxley stepped forward and aimed a wand at the door.

“Bombarda!” and with that the door was blasted off its hinges, as the rest of the group entered the House, Lucius stayed outside as he looked around the neighbourhood with disdain.

These were muggles, yet they had been allowed to expand like rats and controlled more of land than them. They were meant to be under them, as an inferior race, to be controlled and led at the pleasure of the wizards.

Yet the Ministry protected them, persecuted those of them who saw the truth and tried to enforce it.

A shame, but soon these times would come to an end. The Dark Lord will bring a new era, a better era.

“WHO ARE YOU!” “HAHAHAH!”
“GET OUT!” “CRUCIOOO!” “That ought to teach you how to talk to your betters!

He heard screams from the inside and was about to walk in himself when suddenly he heard a scream.

“Stupefy,” and he watched as Yaxley’s body flew out of the house, crashing on the pavement making him freeze up.

“Who are you?” he heard other friends of his shout as he ran inside and found them staring face to face with a man with dark dirty blonde hair, and brown eyes who faced four of his fellows expertly and subdued them instantly.

“We need to get away!”

Their efforts had been futile, the stranger was able to overpower all of them, and as Lucius lay their on the ground grunting his heart hammered in his chest as he saw the man standing over them.

“You are all students,” the man began as he noticed their robes.

“So, what! Who do you think you are! Do you have any idea of who you are messing with?” Yaxley snarled as Lucius reached for the special portkey given to them by their lord.

“I though Alden was simply too biased. I never thought that he was right,” he heard him gasp and he realised just who this man was.

This was Charlus Potter. The war veteran from Grindelwald’s war, a very accomplished wizard, of course they stood no chance against him.

Even if they got away now, there was no way this would remain under wraps. Charlus Potter wielded a lot of influence given his second name and accomplishments during the war, and he had seen their faces.

If he got away from them today, their futures would be done.

So, Lucius did the one thing that could save them all.

He slowly reached for his wand, as Yaxley and the others continued to distract the man, and when he did, he pointed it towards the sky as he used the spell that each Death Eater knew by heart.

“Morsmorde,” and he was immediately hit by a stupefy, as he felt his body grow limp once more.

“What was that? What did you do?” the man questioned as he came up on him.

And Lucius stared at the darkening sky, as the clouds turned began to morph into the shape of a greenish skull.

“I said ans....” and then he felt the air shift as the air cracked.

“He called for me,” relief ran though him as he heard that voice.

Their Lord had answered their call, and as he saw the older Potter look up.

“And who might you be?” he questioned.

“I believe you must already have an idea of who I am,” the Dark Lord answered as he levitated in the air.

“You are Voldemort,” the man guessed correctly, and Lucius noticed him stiffen at that.

“Indeed, I am. And being the generous lord I am, I make you an offer to lay down your wand and join me in my cause, join me so that we may restore out magical world to the glorious ways of our past, to show those born with lesser blood that they exist only to serve us, the one’s who helped built this world,” the lord offered.

“I spit on you and your ideals. You are nothing but a scared man exploiting on those too naive to see beyond this facade of yours,” the man challenged and he felt the air thicken as the dark lord’s eyes narrowed.

“Then you have doomed yourself and your whole family...”and immediately he felt the air thicken, and finally the paralysis wore off, and he immediately reached for the portkey as the Dark Lord’s wand gleamed an ominous green.

“Malfoy” Yaxley yanked onto his arm, as he was about to vanish and then the world blurred, and in the next second they both landed once more on the grounds of Hogwarts.
