Behind the Scenes
Added 2023-04-09 16:13:59 +0000 UTCI’m very busy working on some details for planning the 10th Sapphic Slumber Party… just an acknowledgment that it takes a lot of effort behind the scenes to make everything happen. (And a big thank you to Ms.O and Piper who have been answering my frazzled texts as I try to get this part finished!)
Here’s a moment about an hour until go-time from our last slumber party. The fact that I’m sitting for a moment (and not running around like an angry chicken) is EVIDENCE that many hands make light work. Lexie is putting the finishing touches on her nail polish, Eden is following up on one of the desserts we ordered for the potluck table, Piper is making pretty handwritten posters explaining the bracelet flagging system. This weekend I’ve been putting the final touches on the RSVP invite. I still get a thrill when the link goes live and I can send it to all my favourite babes.
The RSVP tells new guests what to expect, reminds returning guests of all the things they’re looking forward to, confirms everyone knows the rules, and is full of answers and reassurances. You can take a look at the invite breakdown here.
While we’re gossiping you should know that not only is our 10th Sapphic Slumber Party on the full moon, it’s Mars’ birthday celebration, and all of our favourite out-of-town people (including Kitten!) will be here to join us.
