Ta-da! Peonies are my favourite flower. I’m so happy to add them to my corporeal garden. I love how it turned out. 😻

Eek! Here’s a little peek at the process!

As per my pre-tattoo tradition, I took a photo of my blank thigh before we started.

I’ve worked with this artist before, she did the colourful bouquet on my upper arm. She’s so talented she FREEHANDED this outline onto my thigh. It took about 15 minutes.

Progress and details.

Peonies, for me, epitomize the beauty of ripe and ruin. Blossoms that burst until they explode and it’s hard to say when the peak is because it’s all so beautiful, even as it’s falling apart.

The whole thing was finished in under 3 hours and I’m so pleased with it. The only part that hurt was that tiny little leaf right beside my kneecap. Only that spot. The rest was that masochistic buzzy tingle that comes with good pain.

I’m so happy with the outcome. Can’t wait to wear sexy black lingerie when it’s healed and take more photos. ❤️
