Last Week I Saw A Legend
Added 2022-09-21 19:34:47 +0000 UTCI had to share this with you guys even though it’s not my usual post… Ms.O and Piper and I took my kids (who are teenagers and taller than all 3 of us) to see the one and only Lil Nas X! We were literally front row centre, surrounded by the most wholesome gays at the barricades. The experience was life-altering for everyone, but particularly for my youngest because Lil Nas X TOUCHED THEIR HAND. (They are very gay and often remind me that Lil Nas X is their Beyoncé, so you can imagine how much this moment meant.)
7 costume changes, the hottest most flirtations backup dancers, a full on legendary performance. His authenticity is such a gift.
I have so much more to say about this show but my god, if you can get a ticket to Lil Nas X’s tour don’t hesitate. So much black queer joy, so good for the soul.
