A brief interlude from slumber party photos to say I turned 40 this week.

I’m feeling pretty good about it. (Yeah yeah yeah the beauty industry spends bazillions of dollars annually to make me feel like shit about it, but aside from crushing societal pressures I’m good.) There have been so many endings lately, closed chapters, I’m excited for what’s next.

The last few weeks have been fucking nuts, my real job lost it’s funding, my kids have been home from school because of pandemic precautions, Max’s mother passed away and mercury retrograde has been really pushing on the feelings and fuck ups. Taking the time to edit a few slumber party pics and post here every day has been a nice mental break, and a good reminder of life’s joys. Thanks for sharing in those joys with me. 💝

While we’re talking joys I have some good news and a small request!

The good news is WE’RE BEING EXTRA INDULGENT AND THROWING ANOTHER SAPPHIC SLUMBER PARTY IN DECEMBER! Yes, a whole weekend, again, so soon. Because we deserve it and we have to make up for lost time! This is excellent news for you, because by the time I’m finished posting all the hot pics from the 7th event, it’ll be just about time to see the goods from the 8th! 😻I’m so pumped to see everyone again and bask in our gay girl gang glory.

And holy fuck I’m 40. I wish I had something poetic to say but I don’t yet, other than it feels really good to be living life by what’s best for me. (That’s the best advice I’ve got: As much as possible do what’s in your OWN best interest. Magic happens.)

(Oh… that reminds me… I’ll be interrupting the slumber party photos again soon to gush about some VERY FUCKING KINKY plans my hot “vanilla” girlfriend has come up with… she’s gotten curious about some edges I’ve never played with before. I’m excited, and a little bit nervous. But mostly I’m swooning watching her trust her instincts and take control of our dynamic.)

I’ve been spoiled this weekend with good company, flowers, cake and fancy teas. And I’ve been spoiled by your support as well.
