It’s February and it’s fucking fabulous.
This is a picture one of my kiddos took of me at the art gallery a year ago. We went to check out a contemporary exhibit and worship at the altar of Kusama’s Infinity Room. We used to go regularly, the museum, the gallery, the beach, concerts, whatever cool new thing was in town.
This photo popped up in my phones’ increasingly weird “one year ago today” roll. So strange we had no idea what we coming. But that’s how it goes.
February is a hard month sometimes but I’m determined to make this one feel good. Today I bought a pack of giant sparklers on impulse and we watched The Frog Princess in our pyjamas and ate too much candy. It doesn’t have to be fancy to feel good.
I read something on Twitter the other day about how big joys and small joys are the same. Joy is joy and we could all use more of it. So I’m determined to put more small joys into our days.
Will you join me? Let me know a small joy you can put into your day.
I’ll choose one random respondent to send this months’ Postcard of the Month to via snail mail!
Hell yeah!
