Added 2020-07-22 14:59:37 +0000 UTCI’ve been in the forest this week, communing with the owls, snakes, mosquitos and deer. I needed to scrub the city from my mind, jump in the lake, steer the canoe, watch sunfish as we soak up some rays. I’m alone with the kids, I always have another adult with me when we camp, being off the grid is a lot of work. But I’m trying to learn how to do all of the regular things on my own. And I’m doing it. We’re doing it! It’s been a really nice break from lockdown life at home.
