Cold Ass Winter

I can feel the shitty winter blahs sinking into everyone around me. I was fighting them off until last week. It started with chronic pain and then revealed itself to be a spectacularly terrible cold. I’ve slept more in the last week than I have all year, it’s strange for my body to have such little energy. Nothing like a fever to grind everything else in your life to a halt. I guess I needed that. Bad news and bad attitudes have been mounting.

But! This week has had some good news already. The piece I submitted to the Best Lesbian Erotica compilation was accepted! It won’t be printed until 2021, but it was a great little boost just as I’ve been feeling stuck. Cheers to more wins this year.
