Archive Update

So I finally decided on a good platform, took the time to copy all of the content on tumblr from the first Sapphic Slumber Party, then combed through the "flagged posts" and added all of the shots they removed for being "adult content". I thought I was done! I was so proud. I loved that all of the original captions and links were maintained, I was happy with it. And then as I was stuck in traffic coming home from work my mind wandered, and I remembered this cute shot where I'm pretending Ms. O and Kitten are dollies and I'm making them kiss. "That's funny, I don't remember seeing it in the archived posts." I got home and double checked, sure enough tumblr has deleted it. Even if I go directly to the url it says "not found". Further investigation reveals dozens of shots that are just gone.
SO I screamed into the void a little, was upset about having to start again, and then accepted that I would have to go back through my old hard drives and try to find all of the original shots from various photographers individually. I'm going to keep at it! For my own sake, as well as to share with you all. It's going to take a little longer though! Thanks for your patience.
