Beachy Bunny 🦎☀️🌴🌺

I haven't seen a beach in YEARS, and it's been ice storms and blizzards at home for weeks. I was thrilled to get the chance to go outside without 17 layers on. Taking photos to share with you definitely helped keep me sane while my husband's extended family was being their spoiled-brat/conservative selves and making me consider taking up drinking. Instead I smoked a lot of crappy home-grown bush weed, sat at the kids table and sang love songs to the moon. A+ coping skills. 

Also I've stopped editing out my tattoos. When my photos we're going out to the internet-at-large I was weary of being identified by them, but Patreon is such a cool little secret place I don't feel like I have to edit as heavily. (For the record I got the paw print when I was 16, my room was also splatter painted pastel-pink and mint-green at the time, please don't judge.)

I'll never get over looking out an airplane window and seeing the clouds from above.

(Side note, I tried balancing on the headboard for a photo but the self-timer went off RIGHT as I was falling off of it and flailing like a chicken and I've made a gif out of the series of shots it captured and I can only show like one person because it's bad-naked and my face is in it, but I still wanted you to know it existed.)

Thanks to Kinky Casey's recommendation I read How To Be Alone by Lane Moore. I hated it at some parts but really truly loved it at others. Particularly the bits about being obsessed with Anne of Green Gables and Pippy Longstocking as a kiddo, because man oh man was I ever. 

I got this rainbow shirt for $4 and it's now my favourite.

What do you wear to worship the moon and see if you can find some crabs on the beach in the dark? (Totally found one large crab who really wished we hadn't found him.) (We left him alone and went back to dancing in our moon-shadows.)

Mother fucking sunsets man, they get me every time. Where I live you can't see the sun sink into the horizon so I sit and watch that phenomenon every chance I get. It always feels like magic watching it disappear below the line. 

The perfect outfit for ocean shenanigans and 24 hour frozen yogurt (they had pink-lemonade flavour and I ate it three times a day). I also tried one of those stand-up paddle boards for the first time and LOVED IT. I totally want one for our little lake in the woods now. I'm gonna save my pennies and maybe buy myself one for Christmas next year. 

Clitoria! The prettiest clittiest flower there is. I am still so happy I got to see it in real life.
