Now on to baldur's gate 3

Heavenly Demon

Watching from the start of DA:O and until now has been wonderful. Your style and appreciation for the art and story is so nice to behold. Thank you and every Mapo in Thedas!

Anton Lamme

This was a masterfully done playthrough. Thank you for all the hard work and the attention you paid to the lore. Cannot wait for Dreadwolf, and I hope you check out Tevinter Nights and some of the supporting media in advance of the release, whether on or off camera.

Maggie

It's interesting you mention this, as hearing Mapo's thoughts made me come up with a separate theory: As we know, the Maker first turned away from mortals after they abandoned him to instead worship false gods. The story as we know it describes these as the Old Gods. But with just a slight adjustment... What if the story is actually about the *Evanuris*, and the mortals who turned away from the worship of the Maker were the ancient elves? I was trying to figure out if the Chant ever actually says the Maker made the Veil or if we just assumed this. I don't think it does say that, interestingly...

David

Solas, is (for all intents and purposes) The Maker whom the Chantry worships. The world only exists as we know it because of Solas. He "made" the world in which humans and others were able to evolve and thrive.

Hi! I've been watching your playthroughs for quite a while now and since this is also one of my favourite games of all time I'd just like to give a massive thank you for letting us experience this with you - your Dragon Age journey has lift me up after hard days of work and while I'm sad to see it go I can't wait to see whats next for you and the channel! Wishing you the best!!!

Eden

Now that you’ve finished, if you want to see the saddest shit ever go check out Cullen’s Trespasser ending if you had him take lyrium again. Also - Check out FluffyNinjaLlama’s Solas low approval for Trespasser, it’s an absolutely hilarious scene.

agentkilmer

Thank you so much for playing these games!

If you didn't save the Chargers in Bull's mission where the dreadnought went down, Bull sides with the rogue Qunari here! He says something like "Sorry, baas" bringing new meaning to all the times he's called the Inquistitor "Boss". I did it accidentally one playthrough and it broke my heart

Alex

Rumor has it that Bioware is currently targeting a Summer 2024 release for Dreadwolf, so hopefully the wait won't be too long. :)

David

I hit enter too early lol. Even if you dont record your reactions to her channel, I know you would love her channel.

DNA Studios

Ghil Dirthalen covers previous lore and connects it to various codexes throughout the series. Ive been watching her content for years and I know you would love her stuff.

DNA Studios

I dont know if anyone has mentioned it or not but I would love to see you react to another youtubers dragonage lore content. her channel is https://www.youtube.com/@GhilDirthalen and she breaks down so many codexes and lore. Seeing you react to the dreadwolf trailer and then her channel would be amazing!

DNA Studios

I'm a bit sad it's over for now, but I really enjoyed watching you discover all this amazing lore. (The jokes about Orlesian/French people hurt a little bit but I'm not one to hold a grudge.) Anyway, I've been waiting for at least 30 episodes to show this meme I made: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Bhq9mv9y8Xqw8R-nWcfvW0Z72EQKCY6d

What a journey! and thank you for sharing it with us. Also glad to hear that you're interested in the non-game media. If you're interested in "continuing the story," fortunately, quite a bit of media was released after Inquisition. I think the comics are worth checking out; the release order after Inquisition is: Magekiller, Knight Errant, Deception, Blue Wraith, Dark Fortress, and The Missing. The Missing is the most recent DA media (released after the Netflix series Absolution) and was billed as "leading directly into BioWare's upcoming game Dragon Age: Dreadwolf," but it was probably not as well-received as some of the other titles. There's only been two novels since 2015: Hard in Hightown (an illustrated short novel that is something of a novelization of the in-game codex entries) and Tevinter Nights (a collection of short stories by various BioWare writers). Tevinter Nights is long for a short stories book and the stories are uneven in writing quality, but they add a bit of lore. The last story in the book is "The Dread Wolf Take You" by lead writer Patrick Weekes, which I thought was interesting. Anyways, looking forward to seeing more DA in the future.

Tars

I've had an amazing time following you through my favourite game series. It makes all the difference when someone is having as much fun and appreciation as you do with the lore, the characters, and the storytelling and your intuition, humour and theories are amazing. Love ya Mapo 💖

Tequila Mockingbird

I suddenly feel like I feel after reading a great book or finishing a game myself - confused melancholy. :D But also! Looking forward to the stream and/or your potential reactions to the other romances and missed scenes. :)

ElissaFae

End of an era (for now, hopefully). It's been great to go on this journey with you man 🥹

Cat H

I'm not ready TT_TT

It was such a treat watching you play this series! Thank you so much for playing Dragon Age and getting so invested in the lore. <3 As for the Inky's arm: I headcanon that it was your party who saved you. I imagine the Bull's giant axe/sword coming down on your Inky's arm while the other two hold her tight. As horrific as that is, I imagine it's something your party would definitely do for you. And then Dagna forges the Inky a cool new arm! :D

Miriam

I loved watching this episode and seeing your reactions!! I am horribly sad to see it end however. The consolation is that you have them saved and I can rewatch them when I need to get a laugh and enjoy the lore commentary once again!!

Teresa Morrow

I was both super excited and super sad to watch this! 😅 I've enjoyed watching your Dragon Age journey so much. Looking forward to the livestream!! 🐺

Elara Northwind

Too right, I'm genuinely sad. What a saga, what a journey. Worth every minute I spent watching.

DSilvermane

So bittersweet, I loved watching you play, but I don't want this series to end.

runner18x

So sad it's the end! 😭
