In regards to Imshael, he's one of a set of specific demons you've encountered before called the Forbidden Ones! Gaxkang in DAO and Xebenkeck in DA2 are both demons that change their form so Imshael is still a desire demon! He's mentioned in this codex entry: “The first of the magus cast themselves deep in the Fade in search of answers and power, always power. They found the forbidden ones – Xebenkeck, Imshael, Gaxkang the Unbound, and The Formless One. Many conversations were had and much of the fabric of the world revealed. And thus the magic of blood was born.”

2023-09-18 09:07:18 +0000 UTCIf you take the time in between each location clearing or quest to walk throughout Skyhold and speak to everyone you will get a lot of information and hints about personnel and lore tidbits! If I am playing a straightforward Mage friendly Inquisitor I won’t even bother to recruit Vivienne because she flat out hates me! 😂 I return the nastiness at times so I stopped bothering with her as she triggers my bad side. Dagna has lots to say! There is a lot more from other companions but I won’t comment as Mapo has yet to finish his first play through and I don’t want to spoil them for him! Sera is a character in herself! I also think the headstones in the fade gave us hints as to political alignments but I won’t go further with that either!
