Did you download the 4gb_patch from nexus mods? Playing on the pc I had to because the performance lagged horribly. It fixed it. Also, with the updates they have done since going over to EA app Inquisition has apparently become more buggy :(

2023-07-20 07:52:27 +0000 UTCYeah he really should just get rid of the 60 fps mod and see how the game performs without it. There seems to be a slight lag/jankiness to the cinematics which I never had in all my playthroughs on PS4 and which I did not notice on PC lets plays from other channels.

Just wanted to point out two small things related to technical issues... - The 60 fps mod does seem to be causing audio/animation sync irregularities. It is most noticeable at 21:20 when Cassandra's lip animations are still playing after she has already finished her audio line. I wanted to point this out because I originally wrote in the previous thread that the 60 fps mod was fine after the intro (and I was not correct, it turns out). You could try the command line argument alternative for the 60 fps fix (see previous thread), which is reportedly more stable for some users. Actual stability may depend on the game's framerate. - And speaking of framerates, not sure if you're experiencing it in-game but the video has fps stuttering in certain parts. Although the game was released in 2014, some of the higher graphics settings are still very taxing on modern systems (and sometimes with no noticeable difference). For improved technical performance, turning down Ambient Occlusion to SSAO or off (rather than HBAO), and turning Tessellation off are the usual go-to settings for improving performance.
