That weird line about writing songs/getting married is apparently wordplay in Thai, something about writing songs vs. writing vows, but I don't think that comes through AT ALL in the subs here, and thank you to every single fan on Tumblr who explains the nuances of bad translations for folks like me who nerd out over the linguistics of it!

2025-05-19 05:45:49 +0000 UTCAbout the song that Tinn sang for Gun in the end, the lyric is actually a combination of various famous love song titles in Thailand, such as Can I Choose, Let Me Be Your Choice, My Heart For Your Number, Music Lover, You And Just You, Please Send You To Love Me, I Need Somebody, That Person Must Be You, Undo, Everyday I Will Love You, Defendant Of Love, Feeling Shy, Flies High, Can You Love Me Too, etc. Basically Gun was trying to refer to a lot of the famous love songs to try to write a new song, and Tinn just took all those love song titles and combine them to sing to Gun.

2025-05-18 19:25:06 +0000 UTCFun fact about Gun(Fourth) and Tinn(Gemini) kissing is, at the time MSP was airing, they (Fourth n Gemini) were ALSO in a show called Moonlight Chicken. They(GunTinn) were side characters in that show and since MSP was their debut show, we had to wait for them to kiss in MSP FIRST before we could see them kiss in Moonlight Chicken. Which was so funny because, as you can see, they kept stalling and teasing us with their kiss making us think it was gonna happen every week. So imagine that torture of hoping they would kiss in MSP so we could see it in Moonlight Chicken. It felt like GMMTV was playing a prank on us.

What is this random pop-up even for? A surprise ambush? Baby, no one asked. The kids are out here thriving, singing, playing, actually winning. Meanwhile, you’re out here trying to relive your glory days. That chaotic “Saliva” cover you did with your crew in episode 1 during your senior year? It sounded like someone chucked an entire set of pots and pans down the stairs. You already graduated. This club is not yours anymore. So why are you still hanging around high schoolers on your semester break? Don’t you have friends your own age? Or are you just so loud, so messy, so extra, that none of them want to deal with your idiotic bullsh*t? You’re not helping. You are literally the reason half this drama even started! I don’t like you. I’m not pretending I do. But I get it. I get why you’re here. If it wasn’t for your immature gremlin behavior, we wouldn’t even have this story. We wouldn’t have Tinn and Gun get together in the way they did. We wouldn’t have a stage for Sound to pour his heart out to Win on. Sure, it all could’ve happened differently… but then it wouldn’t be our My School President, now would it? So… as much as it kills me to say it, thanks, Yak. I guess? 🤷🏽♂️ For your useless existence.

They both mentioned it a few times and simply understood it without needing grand declarations. Watching them gradually inch closer to each other felt so organic and effortless. Ah, man. This just reminded me how much I appreciated SoundWin and how glad I was that we got more scenes with them.

GMMTV has a show on air now called Boys in Love and it definitely has My School President vibes, one to watch out for. The 2 that play Win & Sound were in another show called We Are, along with Gugg from Sweet Tooth Good Dentist & his BL partner (the friend of Pran’s from Bad Buddy that isn’t Jimmy, or Yak from MSP) & they have great chemistry in that too. Gemini & Fourth (Tinn & Gun) have done an amazing job in everything they’ve put out. Even if the scripts are sometimes a bit clunky, these 2 always deliver
