2025-05-25 03:58:34 +0000 UTCSo this episode really does have allot of exciting, fun and alarming things happening. Very well constructed too and moves all the storylines along. We see that Kim actually does care for Porschay, we get the not-too-shocking reveal that Tawan was betraying Kinn again and helping to set up Porsche. We get Porschay finding out about the mafia. We get Kinn’s dad and uncle ratcheting up the cloak & dagger drama. Finally, we get a closer look into the real machinations of Vegas: He manipulated Tawan by pretending to be his lover, then casually attempted to murder him when he was no longer useful (He planned to do the exact same thing to Porsche). We get a second look at his use of torture as a tool. We can glean from all this that Vegas is manipulative, violent and actually a true psychopath (to use your words Fabi). I almost called him a sociopath, but they tend to be more hot headed and impulsive. Vegas, like all psychopaths, lacks empathy or remorse and seems emotionally cold and detached. Psychopaths often appear charming and intelligent, but can be highly manipulative and calculating. Sociopaths, by contrast, tend to be more spontaneous and reactive, driven by emotion or frustration. Vegas is unquestionably good looking, but it’s only the mask of a hungry predator. In his essence, he is like a crocodile with a butterfly on its nose.

The show is about mafia so I went in expecting morally grey characters that would do some really toxic stuff and then some and the show did not disappoint. One of the reasons I don't put Vegas in the red flag category bcoz the whole show is full of red characters except for Porchay.

In a mafia show, it felt like he was the only one who was really 'mafia' if that make sense. People refer to him as a red flag but I think everyone in this show would be considered a red flag except for Porchay.

2025-05-14 21:41:39 +0000 UTCThere’s a video of Perth getting his makeup done for this scene (the head scene XD), and he looks so dejected, like, “I don’t even have any lines” XD. Poor Perth. Kim likes Chay, but he knows what it would mean for both of them, especially for the boy, to be together. He’s calculating, but not as selfish as Kinn. It’s hard to see those two together, even if they’re the most beautiful thing in the world. And Jeff being all “action man”... ufff. I blame bunny Porchay for this mess. Like, boy, take a HINT already? PLEASE! And Kinn… both the first time I watched this episode and now, I just wanted to smack him. So hard. So, so hard. What did you forget, huh? Outrageous. Not to mention going at it like rabbits (not the cute kind) and being all sweet just after poor Big died? WTF. Lastly, the only man who’s spoken the truth throughout this whole series: Tankhun. And I LOVE the vibe.

He has created a smug, unlikeable bellend & then you kinda feel sorry for him. If you check Ken (the now dead Australian bodyguard) he’s also wearing a ring on his finger… fairly sure Vegas has a magic penis at this point

I haven't read the novel but from my understanding, Big was very much in love with Kinn in the novel. In the show, there are definitely hints towards it, but it's nowhere near as explicit or clear cut. When I've rewatched the episodes Big's ?malice towards Porsche, makes a lot more sense.

Mr. Korn using their father's words to humiliated his brother...winning is not taking advantage of the weak...was excellent. The family dynamics are such a shitshow and I love it. Makes me feel so normal in comparison.

I'd say he's more of a predatory narcissist...everybody in the world exists only to be used by him to make him feel better about himself. He's still fascinating though. And we got another statue of the Virgin Mary in his office among his sex toys and I kinda want to know what's up with that?

2025-05-14 18:41:05 +0000 UTCHere I’m again back to commenting cause i need to 😂 i have been enjoying ur reaction to this masterpiece quietly all this time 😅 ok so i have 2 things to point out : 1- Big (the bodyguard who was killed by Taiwan) was in love with kinn. How do we know ? If u remember in ep 3 Big will visit Kim to inform him that he will be his bodyguard from now on and that kinn got a new one. Kim will tell him : “oh this is bad … bad for you (Big) … everyone wanna steal Kinn for themselves” and Big will just stay SILENT. So Kim knew that Big had feelings for kinn. And you can see through the whole series how Big was always angry talking about Tawan, how he said he was the first to know he is a traitor… so we come back to today’s episode where Big protected Porsche and got himself Killed … he was not protecting Porsche … he never liked him … he was protecting his lover’s heart … he was protecting kinn, the man he loves, from losing Porsche. Sad isn’t it 😭😭

2025-05-14 18:39:07 +0000 UTC"I feel like I've forgotten something" Not KINN and You Fabi forgetting about Pete, while me screaming my langs out to my screen "PETE, PETEEE" So about Vegas, for me personnally, i think because i love the actor and i found him VERY CHARISMATIC (HOTTT), i coudn't hate the caracter and BIBLE (Vegas 's actor) portrayed the caracter very well, reading the novel (Wich is way more intense than the series) at first, i hated Vegas, But watching Bible play this role made more endurable, what can i say A GIRL GOTTA EAT. Also i cried so hard when Big died, he was one of my fav, i don't know how people kept suspecting him, he was so loyal.

My drinking game, to do a shot anytime 'trust' is mentioned, nearly did me in this episode! Kinn's trust issues are completely, and violently, justified here. I don't trust any of them either.

In this series while Vegas isn’t a good person just like Kinn he’s a product of his environment. So in a way a lot of people who understand the character & his backstory they sympathize with him or to find him the most interesting out of all the characters in this series. While his backstory doesn’t justify his actions it explains why he is the way he is. From the way he carries himself, compares himself to Kinn, and also the underlying sexual Kinks he has!!! Also let’s face the fact that he has pretty privilege plays a role. Not to mention another factor that I won’t mention because it gives too much away for future episodes. But there’s more darkness towards at the end of Vegas’s tunnel but eventually there will be light!!!

2025-05-14 14:41:40 +0000 UTCI think most people like Vegas because he's a great villain: comically evil, but also /just/ human enough to make you care about why he is who he is and does what he does. he's fun to think about? 🤷♀️ hasn't seemed to me so far that you have recognised the actor who plays Tawan, not sure if someone already pointed it out, but: he played Sorn in Until We Meet Again, Sin's boyfriend and Dean's childhood friend. so, every time you said, that you hated his /face/, my brain went "no, the face is innocent!" 😄 sadly, this marks the episode where we had to say goodbye to Big. when I first watched this drama, I watched it for him (I know! 🤦♀️🤭), he was my favourite. the remaining episodes had to work hard to keep my interest. seems silly on rewatches now, but I don't know, his gorgeous face sparked something in my imagination and I just couldn't stop inventing backstories for him. 🤷♀️ and then also Ken... I had no real attachment to the character, but I loved the actor (Perth) already from watching My Engineer, so having his face around was paradoxically a comfort... ah well. Ken is nothing compared to Ram. (My Engineer will /never/ land on your schedule. there are just not enough people around who love it. it's really good though, so if you ever find yourself wanting to watch a BL without being filmed, that's a safe one to go for! 😏 + Perth is a delight in it) and lastly: PETE. Kinn, you forgot about PETE. 💪😒
