To be fair, in the ending scenario, You can’t be mad at Kinn for the way he reacted. That outburst and reaction was completely valid given why was going on.

2025-05-03 02:06:32 +0000 UTCI have like three million thoughts, but the big one is kind of...encompassing. Like, why do SO MANY of us loooove this show? (True story, I ducked out of a family reunion for 1.5 hours to watch the KP finale; my sister came upstairs to use the bathroom, and stumbled in on me crying, and was like THIS IS MAKING YOU CRY???) So one thing I keep coming back to is: the backstory to this show (ie how it got made) is so dramatic AND unbelievable. And at the time it was coming out, the things Apo and Mile were saying about the show, and how BoC was being run was really revolutionary. When you knew the backstory, heard the conversations, and then watched the Behind the Scenes, there was a sense that something special and different was happening, and that was exciting. I fucking (pardon my language, I swear like a sailor in real life) LOVE episode 7. The week it came out I watched it every day. But part of the reason it became so meaningful was hearing Mile and Apo talk about how they approached the end scene, and how clear it became that Kinn and Porsche don't talk things out, they touch things out. Every couple on the show has their way of communicating; Kinn and Porsche's is skinship. A lot of BL fans complain about sex being crammed into shows where it doesn't belong (and ftr I share NONE of those views; give us meaningless sex scenes along with meaningful ones; I truly do not care and if a show is good will watch no matter), but in this case, it is so central to how Kinn and Porsche are with each that it wouldn't work without the sex scenes. Ahem. Sorry for the mini rant. All that aside, if you don't know the backstory to KP, Fabi, and you'd like it, hit me up, because I think I know it forwards and backwards; or at least what the lore says is the backstory! LOLOLOL.

Also, in the bar where they were celebrating after their mission, what was up with the big statue of the Virgin Mary lit with bright green lights? I don't know what it means... A mob bar called 'The Virgin Mary' would be kinda funny though.

2025-05-02 15:44:54 +0000 UTCI just came to this episode to see Fabi’s “what the f... am I watching” face… and I’m not disappointed, hahah Speaking seriously, it’s hard to see that Porsche is fully mafia now. But we have to understand this is a gang war. In fact, criminals and narcos killing each other isn’t a tragedy in my book (I know, my morals are questionable XD). It’s a “kill or be killed” kind of situation. That scene at the end of the episode is so confusing to me, because I don’t know whether to be aroused by the incredible sex appeal (amazing acting), be outraged by the toxicity of the relationship (Porsche, you can just ask Kinn about the ex… and Kinn, so controlling), or… laugh, because they were doing all that while the bodyguards were just 3 meters away XD. BUT! What stresses me the most is my poor Porchay… so naive ><. I love Jeff, and I find it amazing how he gives off this cold vibe, like, you can feel it on your skin, like he’s a giant wolf courting a little bunny. Great acting.

2025-05-02 15:42:20 +0000 UTCI think KinnPorsche did a really good job of balancing the sexually charged stuff with a good plot and great acting... in the past 2 years a lot of BL producers know the fans either wanted cutesy stuff or sexually charged stuff and the majority of sexually charged BLs post KinnPorsche has been so bad because they are just doing stuff to get viral scenes rather than giving good stories also.

2025-05-02 14:53:23 +0000 UTCKinn Porsche may have singlehandedly started a sub-genre of BL's with this series. I think if there was no Kinn Porsche there probably would be no "Only Friends." These are series that take the 'love' to mean making love. There are other modern BLs that also are more sexually charged, that reveal more intimate moments than int he past. Now, for myself, I will always love the pure BLs the most. I'm a sucker for sweetness and romance. But, having said that, I do not look away when these scenes happen 😅

Horrible- but not as extreme as you're thinking. He is jealous and want to ruin something that he sees as belonging to Kinn. Not justifying the behavior- just hoping to clarify.
