While some of these replies came from my female friends and close family, I also got similar reactions to yours, though most of them were from my straight male friends. Not sure if there's a pattern there! 😂 But yeah, my experience was a bit balanced in that way. Again, everyone's experience is different, and everyone reacts differently. But I definitely see your point!

2025-02-07 12:46:45 +0000 UTCAhora recuerdo que éste (cap 7) fue mi capítulo menos favorito... por un lado es algo confuso, cuesta entender la situación en un comienzo (creo que recién viendo por segunda vez se entiende bien), además esa reunión de personajes muy "extra" entrometiéndose en la relación, no sé, me resultó desagradable, especialemnte en el capítulo en que uno esperaba que Vlad y Karl pudieran tener su rato feliz. Y cuando Judit hace callar a Anna en la mesa, me enojó un poco, yo en el lugar de Karl le hubiera dicho que nadie hace callar a otros invitados en mi casa. Pero entiendo que estaba completamente acorralado y aterrorizado. En fin Fabi, ves que la serie no es tan "light" como parecía en el primer capítulo? XD Saludos!

2025-02-07 05:28:45 +0000 UTCIt was interesting in your epilogue that you talked about the fears of coming out and the experience of people saying "Oh, I always knew." In my case, I was maybe rare in that I stunned almost everyone when I came out. I was actually hoping that I would hear more "Oh, we knews" because then I wouldn't have to deal with as much shock and a longer acceptance arc. I had talked myself into the idea that more of them must have a suspicion - but I think I ran into that very human quality of denial. People will subconsciously miss certain ques and dismiss others to maintain their own equilibrium.
