They changed some things up from the manga to close the arc perfectly and not to leave us on cliffhanger and left this "unfinished". This was neccessary cuz the next arc starts right after and there is no break in between. There are already some tabloid articles who read this change that we won't get season 3 which is straight bull cuz season 1 ended the same style lol. Hope we get the S3 or a movie, just finish the story in some anime adaptation form. They announced S2 after 6 month from S1 ending so we can expect that time frame, until then everybody who says smh about getting or not getting S3 is making shit up.

RASCAL DOES NOT DREAM OF BUNNY GIRL SENPAI! It’s released two more movies and season two is currently airing. Nobody seems to know about it because they hardly advertised it but they’re all amazing. I would love if you would revisit it. If you do, the movies definitely are necessary to cover the time between season one and two. Just a shot in the dark but I hope you consider it.

Really enjoyable season, glad to see Marin is still Marin, the passion that attracted me in the first place has never changed. Seeing Gojo growing more and more is just so satisfied, also makes me tear a lot. And it's a pleasure to meet these side characters, they are good influences for our boy and girl. I would say it's a perfect season to talk deeply a lot about the love, the passion you need to continue the things you love in your life. Like Marin gave me the confidence to express the true feeling in mind in the season 1, we got the beginning there, but this season builds it deeply, and I just love to learn it more and more.

Btw Marin is not just Akira's 'best girl', it is beyond that, she used 'oshi' (like in oshi no ko) lol Marin is her freaking oshi, her idol, the one she goes on freak mode and parasocial lmao I think you are familiar with the oshikatsu thing from the idol scene.

2025-09-21 05:50:15 +0000 UTCAkira's reaction went way beyond anything I could have imagined from when I read the manga. It was so good! Her VA finally got to let loose! I loved the "Huh?" "Huh?" "Wha?" scene. So funny the way they cut it. And Gojo's "Princess" voice. HAHAHA! I'm so glad we got a S2 and Cloverworks got to step up the quality even more. There were some real standout moments like the photo session in the park. The cinematography with the culture festival episodes was so good. And Marin and Gojo just being Marin and Gojo. Honorable mention to the episode where Marin got sick and the Crunchyroll subtitles weren't timed properly for the first 30min or so after it was released. That had me SO confused in the best possible way.

Hopefully Cloverworks makes a 3rd season for MDUD and not adapt the last part of the manga into a film. I feel like they would have to cut too much out. I need to see that last chapter animated.

Cloverworks really did everything so good and seeing my fave series having a perfect adaptation makes me sooo happy the last Marin and Wakana segment is anime only, probably to havé a proper season ending and not a cliffhanger. Marin never had the chance to try to confession at this moment ahah hoping now a sequel announcement son to adapt the last part and biggest part of the series ❤️

2025-09-20 23:00:05 +0000 UTCAnother very well done episode. CloverWorks made a max effort to finish the season off. But, it feels like there is no plan in place at this time for a continuation. The last 2 ½ minutes were anime original and the original content would have left off with a cliffhanger. The farewells from the cast,the post credit end card of death tells me the best to hope for is a wait and see. I hope with all my heart I am wrong. S1 ended without any plan to continue as well, but I had hoped that they were committed to completing the story. On the other hand, if they had written in a confession and answer, while perhaps more satisfying, that would have put the final nail in the coffin. So, they are leaving the door unlocked for some kind of continuation. It may just be that the decision on what form that will take is TBD. After all the tease of another cosplay is present in the ED. With some reasonable edits, the remaining kanon from the serialization could be done in a longer than normal movie. There is also the factor that Fukuda-sensei has indicated an intent to produce some additional content and any decision could be pending that.

Almost everything at the end with Gojo and Marin heading home is anime original because they needed a cute way to wrap up the season. In the manga, they started talking about what Marin's next cosplay would be, and Gojo ended up bailing on the Coffin afterparty so he could start doing research for the outfit. Marin never even got a chance to try and confess 😔
