💛 Happy Friday, music lovers! Doja Kitty's new album is finally out and it was a sonically cohesive project. I had a good time with most of the songs. Let me know what you think and I shall see y'all very soon!
Please do not post me listening to full songs or this entire video on any other platform. You can post a few seconds, a verse or chorus, but not the entire song. Thank you ❤️
my favorite line of the whole album is "cause my DNA wants your D in me"

i def think the cohesiveness is too much for her and if she were to appreciate each song individually she would love them a lot more!

As an avid Doja fan since Amala (Hot Pink really but lemme be a Stan 😌) I feel Vie was a breath of fresh air after her self proclaimed "fart" album Scarlet. If I'm being honest Scarlet HIT when it hit and MISSED when it missed (Scarlet 2 CLAUDE polished it off perfectly I think) but Vie just highlighted how much Doja fits the Pop-RnB-Rap aesthetic... My friend and I have an album review shared notes and usually do new releases (with the exception of Lorde's discography since I'm dragging her to the Virgin tour) and her, a Swiftie, me a Doja Stan, had mixed opinions on the album but as I said to her today... From the beginning I gave Vie a standing ovation! I fully understand people feeling as though the 80s vibes can get repetitive but I feel as though she found the same flow she felt during Planet Her in this album. Her opening with Cards being about testing the waters and feeling she could fall in love, I believe, makes the album perfectly cyclical by Come Back as she feels as though she loved what they had yet it just didn't meet expectations! I couldn't choose a fav from this album so I'm just glad I can experience it all in the upcoming tour (also apologies I know I'm a grabber but my 'tism goes into full swing about music).
