It feels more personal and I could see the growth in the album. Sonically took some time to grow on but this was one of the best albums of the year I've heard.

I think it's so reminiscent of a lot of J-Pop and soft J-Rock sounds of the 2000s, a lot of nostalgic sounds for japanese diaspora folk. I really liked how she tied these nostalgic sounds to the theme of the album, while also using more modern sounds in her more rageful or darker songs. I'm so happy to hear you got the general message of the album, and your top songs are great choices as usual :) thank you so much for reviewing this!!!! I was waiting for it <3
