Some Important News

Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing well.

I wanted to take a moment to share a few important updates—both about the game and some things happening on my end.

First, as many of you may have heard, itch.io has recently deindexed all NSFW games, including Daddy May Love. This platform has been a major part of the game’s growth, and I know many of you discovered the project through it. Right now, it’s unclear whether these changes are permanent, or if the game will eventually be visible on the platform again.

Understandably, this has raised concern among indie devs like myself—some even wonder if this is just the beginning, and if other platforms might follow. While I remain hopeful, it's a reminder of how uncertain these spaces can be for creators of adult content.

In addition to this, I’m currently dealing with a personal challenge: I’ve been forced to move out of my current home and am now searching for a new place to settle. It’s a stressful situation, especially given how difficult it is to find housing in my city right now. This has naturally affected my workflow.

As a result, progress on the next update (v0.1.4) has been slower than usual, which is frustrating for me too. That said, please rest assured—it’s not an indefinite delay. The update won’t be many many months away or anything like that. It’s just moving at a gentler pace while I sort out these real-life disruptions.

I’m committed to continuing Daddy May Love, regardless of the itch.io situation. Once I’m settled into a new place, I believe I’ll be able to fully focus and move forward with renewed energy.

Lastly, I’ll be releasing v0.1.3 to the public here and on Discord at the scheduled time. However, I will not be updating the itch.io page.
