Once the fluid drains, Charlie is still standing upright - and then when the chamber's walls retract again, they materialise clothing instead of getting rid of it.
"Is this... Danny, are you... are you kidding me?"
Speechless, Danny walks forward, almost in awe from the woman now standing in front of him. Despite more skin being covered, she looks even more exposed, covered in gold and red finery, a stark contrast to the utilitarian laboratory.
"Oh wow... damn, Charlie! You look fantastic!"
Snarling at his potentially-former friend, he looks down at his feminine form, wavy black hair cascading over his shoulders. Around his neck is a golden collar, with a golden chain leash draped between his breasts.
His crotch is totally exposed, a tuft of pubic hair cresting his puffy pussy, with an intricate tattoo just above it. Looking back up at Danny, Charlie is obviously not impressed.
"There's no way in hell I'm going back in there."

And here we have the results of the double-result! A 'harem whore', fresh out of the Genetic Resequencing Chamber. Or whatever it's called, I haven't made up a suitably sci-fi name yet. Either way, Charlie is looking good, even if I do say so myself.
I hope you're all enjoying this little story I'm concocting! I've got rough plans, but I quite like the idea of writing as I go, leaving decision points up to you guys, as Charlie and Danny explore this facility.
