Abandoned Lab, 2
Added 2020-04-11 13:07:45 +0000 UTCFlicking the light switch, the two of them are pleased to see that there's at least some power remaining, even if all the equipment they've seen is obviously powered down. Putting down his flashlight, Charlie steps further into the room, intrigued by an odd, circular platform.
"Huh... what do you think all this even is, Danny? There aren't any labels or signs, and the door wasn't even locked!"
Stepping up onto it, Charlie's bored companion obviously doesn't care, just keeping his phone out to try and find some signal. He's not about to strike off on his own, though, not with how winding and maze-like the building turned out to be. At least Charlie's always been good at finding his way out of things.
"Can we go already? This place is boring, and I don't care about whatever that thing is. I've got plans with friends tomorrow!"
It's obviously a lie, but Charlie doesn't call Danny out on it, too engrossed in his inspection of the equipment. Stepping up onto the platform, he tries to work out what it's for - just as Danny shifts on his feet, putting his hand down to lean on the inactive computer console.
