Some festive announcements.

I hope you're all having a lovely holiday time so far and, if not, never fear. I have a few things to tell you that I hope will cheer you up!

Firstly, here is a semi-announcement for the project I'll be starting once S.L.U.T. Academy is finished. The full title above isn't completely finalised, but I am planning on making a new Totally Immersed game! A 'sequel', of sorts. It'll still be in RPG Maker, but I will upgrade to RPG Maker MV, which should make it easier for me to develop, and also provide a higher resolution for better 3D renders.

Yep! There will be such awesome renders as the one above, as I've recently acquired a new video card, which should cut my render time by a huge amount - thereby allowing me to do a lot more scenes. Even, possibly, animations!

"But JoeForest!", you might say. "Won't S.L.U.T. Academy take ages to complete?"

And that's where my second announcement comes in! The event spurring this actually occurred a couple months ago, but I didn't want to say anything until I was sure. The fact is, I will be taking some time to focus a hell of a lot more on my writing and games.

I've cut down a lot on my 'normal' working hours, and I'll be leaning some more on my Patreon income, which should hopefully be coming in more often with my increased writing hours. Of course, I still won't be charging more than once a month, and I'll still only be charging after the same amount of content - I just hope to put out a lot more of it!

(This may result in a restructuring of the current rewards, but nothing will happen without discussion with you guys first, and not for a few weeks at least.)

Finally, I've decided to start a JoeForest Discord server! This will include some small bonuses for Patron pledges, such as dedicated Patron chat channels. If you don't like Discord, then don't worry - you won't miss out on anything of substance, as I will still be posting weekly updates on Patreon.

If your Discord account is linked to your Patreon account, you should automatically be added to the server at the correct rank. It'll also be open to the public soon (once I've worked out how to run it properly), although they won't be able to access exclusive Patron chats. If you have separate Discord logins (for gaming and porn, for instance) and would like your Patron privileges moved to a different Discord account, then please send me a message and we can work something out.

Hopefully, this will facilitate a more open dialogue than through comments on Patreon, and will also have the benefit of moving discussion to a more open forum. Some people have voiced concerns about Patreon's recent political bias (perceived or otherwise) and, while I won't make a comment one way or the other, these concerns are completely understandable.

Anyway, I continue to be very grateful for the support you have all shown me over the past couple of years. I hope that it can continue into the New Year, with all of the new and exciting things I will have to show you!
