Project Poll 35

Alright new hair poll. Got a variety of choices to pick from since it's been a while since I did one of these. Multi choice as always, you probably know the deal by now so getting right into it. A lot of these have been in past polls and have been popular there, so it's a bit more like a best of.

Poll options

1. Short/Pixie cut

• Cute style, also reasonably easy to make compared to some of the others in here since it's short hair. I might potentially be able to even reuse some past textures to make this which would further speed things up, maybe even parts of a previous model. The front bangs are similar to the kobeni hair I did previously so it might be a good place to start from.

2. Wolf Cut

• A medium length cut to offer variety.

• Had this in a previous poll, been a long time since, but even if it didn't win, I recall that it was popular back then, so I'm bringing it back for this one. A bit more complex than the previous choice, so more difficult and time consuming to make, but it's pretty stylish and looks great so definitely worth considering.

3. Top Messy Bun

• Also from a previous poll and also decently popular and also medium length.

• Now, this might look cooler in the reference image than what it might look after it's done from other angles. The bun itself seems to be falling over to the side so it might look off from the front/back. Or it might be really nice, I dunno, will definitely have to make a reference model before building this to check. In any case, I'm not sure when it comes to complexity with this one, so I might just say it's equal to the Wolf Cut above.

4. Simple Long Asian

• Had shorter hair, had medium, now let's get into longer styles. I had this in a past poll too, bringing it back here to have a simpler long choice available. This is probably one of the more basic long free flowing hairs in terms of complexity, since it's straight and covers ears and pretty much all of the head/hairline, so I don't have to worry about root placements and whatnot.

• Will probably shoot for something closer to the second/third image instead of the first wavier image so keep that in mind. No worries though, I have you covered later on if you're after something like that :)

5. Mari Makinami hairstyle

• Had this in a past poll too, wasn't too popular but I'm still interested in making it and having it here for choice variety. I haven't really made any twin tails/pigtails type hair and this one is pretty nice looking. Also not too difficult or time consuming, can even resort to mirroring a tail to the other side and use some degree of symmetry, which I never did on previous styles, so probably a lot quicker than some of the other styles here, even the middle length ones.

6. Wavy Middle Part

• Final one for this poll, a wavy long hair that was mentioned in the text in #4. Most of my past styles have been straight hair because curlier styles are more difficult/time consuming, but I think I'm willing to try something like this now. In terms of looks it's probably the best here, a very pretty style, at least in my opinion, but also probably the most difficult.

• That being said, I will cut down on complexity and also differentiate this by pulling all the hair in the front on the shoulders and living nothing in the back, as opposed to something like option#4 or my previous long hairs.
