- I've been grinding away at this poll item for the past couple of days, getting close to completing a base model for it. Most of the work in that sense is done, just have to poke holes in the jeans and do some finishing touches and then I can start high poly/detailing work.
- This is honestly a pretty exhausting and not fun model to work on, mostly due to how many different parts and small pieces/details there are and because they're so small and many, it makes you feel like not a lot of progress has been made in the big picture. Very unfulfilling to work on to say the least. It's probably going to pay off in the end though, small stuff like that adds up.
- I'm not entirely sure at this point how to approach the knee pads. The original concept has these cool painted metal looking pads which I like, but unfortunately, I'm not sure I can make them like that, since this is part of a set and needs to function with the boots that have already been made. I did a quick import of said boots and because they were high heels and FO4 doesn't have a high heel system in place, they sit way too high up the leg, covering half of the knee and not allowing for any sort of bulky pad. Might have to deviate from the concept and just keep some flat leather pads on the pants, unless I think of some other solution to this problem.
- Last image is the shotgun shells from the belt. Those I actually made first before I even started on the main model. I wanted them to be separate and have their own separate texture so that I could reuse them in the future as a resource in case I ever need some. Those are actually fully done and textured, ready to be used. The shells in the belt in the first images are actually those models, I just didn't apply textures.
