jhair 6 - completed/preview

- Completed this asset today.

- This is pretty heavy on the polycount, considering it's short hair, but couldn't help myself detailing it a bit. In some ways it needed more, some areas have more detail than others, but I have to draw the line somewhere or I'll never be done with it.

- The polycount is at 69k for this asset, which is actually very close to the last one, just a tad under it, and under the 75k of the ponytail. Still, considering that one was long hair and this one is very short, those numbers just go to show the difference in detail between those.

- Also that number is definitely not an intentional place I stopped at to make a sex joke. Nope ... I'm definitely waay more mature than that ... yep ...

- Overall pretty happy with how this turned out. This is probably my new favourite in terms of detail and realism. There's some parts that are not great, but as a whole, this is a very good result, I'd say close to photo realism. I still need to make a couple more of these before I achieve mastery, there's still mistakes and screw-ups in this one too, but I definitely think I'm getting better at it when compared to my previous attempts. Thanks to the patrons that voted for this one, I mentioned back in the poll that it wasn't exactly my favourite out of that list and I probably wouldn't have done it if it was up to me, but it did teach me some good valuable lessons that will be useful for the future.

- Speaking of previous attempts, I do actually go back and look at them every time I start a new one to remind myself of the mistakes I made when making them and correct them. Did the same for this one and looking at the first hairstyle I made (the half up half down longer style) .... I'm really not happy with it.

I really want to fix it and bring it more in line with these ones, so I'll go back to it next, to update and redo the textures to have thinner hairs. I was concerned at the time regarding those, but they just look extremely fugly, close to spaghetti coming off the head rather than hair, so that's next on the to do list, after this gets ingame.
