Jhair 6 - WIP 1/2/3

- I've been quiet and haven't really been checking in here recently. Sorry about that, I tend to lose track of time and all other things when I'm focused on a bigger project, which right now is this poll hair. Here's the equivalent of 3 WIP posts condensed in one that shows progress on it. I should've been posting these more regularly to update you more frequently, but as I said ... I kinda got caught into it xD

- So, started this hair about 1-2 weeks ago, made and completed textures for it and 2 layers worth of hair cards stacking. I'm using the main picture in the poll (white/grey hair) as a main ref, so that's technically what I'm shooting for.

- Left quite a bit bigger gaps in this one when placing the cards. Last hair I did, I kept things somewhat tight, which had the end hair look somewhat flat, despite the huge number of cards that went in it. This should look a lot nicer in that regard and have a lot more of a layered feel, especially after the finer cards get placed over and in between those gaps.

- I also wanted to try a different way to stack hair cards for this hair, compared to what I've been doing until now, that was supposed to ( or at least I thought ) let me do it faster, so I experimented with it and tried it out for a day or so. It is indeed faster and quite nice overall, but unfortunately there is a certain lack of fine control that can lead to a bit of frustration and intersecting cards that don't look very nice.

I defaulted back to the slower method for now as I needed that extra control to shape the more important structural cards, but I'll probably go back to it when I place the finer, more transparent cards. There's less risk of unwanted intersection with those and the extra speed would be welcomed there. 

- I'd say this is around the 60%-ish mark, I think I should have it done in another week or so.
