I've always enjoyed this episode. I like to think that Droxine was instrumental in bringing the two societies closer together. Both women were so beautiful and the dresses were right up my alley to show off their wonderful physiques. Diana (Droxine) had such a beautiful long stomach that went on forever and was rather busty too ππ She was only 23 here. Charlene was also attractive and only 26 here. Sadly, she passed at 55 from fucking cancer... ππ€¬ππ€¬ππ€¬ To end with I enjoyed your reaction and in the parlance of today's youth, I "ship" Spock and Droxine ππ

Yes, it has problems (mostly the same issues that all Season 3 episodes have) and I agree with Bunny it doesn't stick the landing. However, it's great acting and sets, good paced action throughout the episode, and delivers a powerful message. I think it ranks a little above average. I also have always really loved Droxine's silver dress! The other dresses/uniforms in this episode are great also (I don't think Vanna's outfit is short enough!) but the silver dress has always stood out to me. And don't sell yourself short, Bunny, you could totally rock that look. :) For the pictures of looking down at the planet when they are in the cloud city the show uses pictures from manned space flights, to really sell just how high up the city is. Droxine was called by her father at first meeting 'a work of art' which is why Spock said that he had 'never before met a living work of art'. There's actually quite a lot of attraction to Vulcan's through out the shows...I'm thinking of a famous scene right now that's later on, LOL Hard to believe we're almost done with the original series!
