I caught one of the jokes, the gremlin William F Buckley; and others, but they were not impersonations, more hints, which left them open to interpretation. Thanks bunny for the insightful and animated reactions.

2024-08-25 17:52:40 +0000 UTCOf all the sequels you listed I have to say the one that I want to see your reaction to the most is Evil Dead 2. Why? It’s just a better movie than the first one. Sam Raime was “ finding his look” as a director and it would go on to be incredibly influential in modern cinema. Also, it’s just hilarious. It’s kind of a litmus test of whether you can appreciate the melting of horror and campiness. Which it seems like would be up your alley.

There was a brief fad for putting suction cup toys and signs in your car windows. Other big ones were “baby on board” signs and Garfield dolls. It was weird.
