Wood Wardens art

So I've started pencilling the comic and I wanted to finish some additional art so I can start hammering a process down for colouring. As this comic (as I prefer to make comics this way) the inks do the heavy lifting and the colours compliment.

Really if I could I would just colour it in watercolour but sadly that would take too much additional time (not the painting itself but the transferring and then scanning and adjusting said scans etc)

So here is more ref sheets, these are just made for me to work on. Mostly very blank or emotional less, but it coveys the shapes I need to repetitive draw a character. I think they are kinda boring which is why I rarely like sharing them. The Yote was pushing me to share this with Patreons.

Fish Mongers wip

I liked the idea of a cat fish monger but then wanted to draw his business partner is a very loud dog. Probably great fish but they wake up a whole village.

Left the lines kind of rough because I would paint this in gouache which I don't use much line weight in.

Comics

So I'm going to start thumb nailing Issue 5 of Synthetic Instinct. It's a huge tonal shift so I look forward to that.
In autumn of last year I had kind of a massive burn out which has never happened to me before on that scale... I've put 5 years into Synthetic Instinct, roughly a year for an issue, as the first year of working on it doesn't count too much as I was in and out of the hospital and my cats dying.
It was an awful year. ... yet I still worked just slowly.

I finished this today which is very fitting as I will be seeing Fantastic Four tonight.
I'm excited as I've been reading that comic for most of my life and have always been saying there needs to be a movie that is retro themed.

Pencils of my fursona flying into space was kind of a venting peice as my crazy neighbour decided to be even more crazy so flying into space seems like a great idea.

Back from Canada

So I had planned on working right when I got back from my 2 week visit to Canada. The visit was great, have a lot of art ideas and got some stuff sorted out for the scripts.
Thing is I came back with with Upper respiratory tract infection (it's not covid) so did Kojote but due to being on immuno suppressants I have been hit pretty hard.

Space cat wip

So I haven't been able to make many new prints or work in traditional because I was so focused on Synthetic Instinct. My print portfolio is very neglected! So I want to get some more new cat prints as shocking enough I LOVE cats + space and I only have ONE cat+ space print ( that is from 2019)

I am not good at playing this character but I really like Blood Soldier skin(Rivals version of Blood Hunt event) on Bucky/Winter Solider and in the comics Bucky has a very cute cat named Alpine.
