A bi game is fine. The sketchy part is leading you supporters to misunderstand the direction of the game. At best you saw the votes were always male and didn't have enough consideration to clarify to supporters again.

Red, I sincerely appreciate the response. Please allow me to clarify a few things about the post above. I was under the impression these complaints were coming from someone who was supporting the game. If in fact this was just some jackass off the street, then by all rights he doesn't have any room to complain. If he had been a patron, I could at least understand the perspective, if not the approach to the criticisms. I don't find that harassment is an acceptable, or effective for that matter, method of airing grievances. I would personally much rather lay out my concerns and provide my reasoning. I also want to clarify the statement in regards to the "relatively slow development". I meant that very specifically in regards to your development team size. I acknowledge you are a very small team and because of this your timelines are slower in comparison to other games I have backed or supported in the past which have had larger teams. Hell even with huge teams I have had that blow up in my face, and not in the good way.(Mighty No. 9 anyone?) From my understanding (I could be wrong) it is just you and Ket working on this. The quality of your work is why I continue to back despite the larger comparative expense. You are great about communicating any delays and from what I have seen, always provide good reasons. I truly meant it when I said I do not mean to discount the work you have put in. I'm very excited to see the gallery in particular is progressing as I have longed for this since I first encountered the game, lol. Also with boobs(gasp) being on the table so to speak, any chance we may see some Futa characters?(Best of both worlds, eh?) Again, keep up the great work guys.

We appreciate the support but there are a couple of things I feel like you should know. The person in question was never a patron. The second thing is that the person wasn't just "complaining" I used the word harassment pretty aptly. We've had our share of complaints in the past and we've never had trouble with those. I've shared the chat log with people in our discord server and I can assure you there is nothing legitimate about that persons reaction. No one is condemning anyone for having constructive criticism and complaints. It only becomes an issue when it genuinely turns into harassment and they try create 50 accounts to try to fool us among other things. But you are right that you are all in your rights to have complaints about the project. I will say though it does sadden me to hear some people say were moving relatively slow considering the workload it takes to get one enemy done. Thank you for the encouragement though! Well try to redouble our efforts!

So, let me get this out of the way first: I am bi so I welcome the addition of female characters, especially ones as cute as Detective Hottie above. That being said, those commenting here talking smack about people complaining and ignoring that objectively this project was misrepresented, however unintentional it may have been. Also to be clear this isn't a project that Red and Ket are "sharing" with us out of the goodness of their hearts. We contribute funds monthly to support the project to have access to it. I have only been a patron since May of last year and even at 5 bucks a month I have already spent $40 on the project. That is already very close to what I would spend on a fully formed triple a game for a not even half-finished independent platformer. I am not trying to discount the work and effort that Red and Ket have put into this and I understand that they are a small team, which is why I continue to support even with the relatively slow development progression. But to act like someone who has been spending their money on the project has no right to be upset at poor communication of intent resulting in a misunderstanding where they feel the project is not what they thought it was is asinine and actually makes you sound like a jerk. This isn't some piece of artwork someone's viewing on E621 and bitching. This is something people are financially supporting. I appreciate Red clarifying now and apologizing for the misunderstanding but all these people in here talking about others being toxic while being toxic themselves is very hypocritical. Just my two cents. Red and Ket, keep doing an amazing job and I look forward to see what else you have in store for us.

ugh, of course theres that one person who gets uppity that the game isnt tailor made to him and gets after the devs for it. I recommend you leave people like that on read, or answer everything with super positive tones so they just burn themselves out. Also, please dont let this get you down, theres a LOT of different flavors of toxic out there, and looks like some of it dribbled over here, remember that first and foremost you are making this game for YOU, and sharing with the rest of us So thank you devs, for doing the things you do

People need to remember that Hentai artists are artists and as such need to have their artistic decisions and visions for their projects respect the same way one would respect the decisions and visions of a sfw artist.

I don't usually post and just lurk for updates, but(t) fuck it. I myself am bisexual in regard to furry so there is no problem with this info for me whatsoever. But(t) even if I were gay I would have no problem with straight content every now and then. Especially since it is entirely optional. Now I had some encounters with certain furry’s myself and have to say that they can be the most entitled, punchable scumbags. So my advice for you would be to "just do your thing" its great that you talk so actively with your followers, but you should focus more on the things you feel are right to do. There might be a handful off people how will cancel their subscription, but those few should hardly matter. Also, there are sure to be people (like me) who are happy with the occasionally female character. Well this got longer than I intended to lol. Thanks for reading and have a good one.

What you have described seems great, ultimately it will remain male focused but with females and maybe even other sexes coming, this would improve it for me and I assume most others. Really never got straight people getting angry at a single gay interaction, just as confused to see a presumably gay man getting mad at seeing a single interaction with a women.

For all the instances, I support the inclusion of females in the game. Both for interactions only, enemies, and both with and without sex scenes (although, I very much prefer to have sex with girls too). Hope that person who harressed you may be in a sorry for now and appologises to you. And I hope you can be successful in your work there, as I'll always be on your side, support you and your game, as you are doing a very and pretty good job on this game, and I can't wait to see the complete version! Hope there can be even a Co-Op mode in the future, so maybe a male character and another male character, or male/female, and female/female can make the adventure side by side, having good experiences into a new feature that only Co-Op mode could make it possible. I know the idea above could be in a very much of difficulty, since it might even need some kind of servers and there, but still, I'm supporting you, whenever it comes out. However, since it’s going to be optional stuff (not enemies that force sexual interaction), then I don’t see any reason to complain. And what made me love this game was not because it was mainly gay content but because I was impressed by the amount of effort you guys putted in that project. Including female characters makes sense, and diversifying a cast is just good storytelling. However, having the clarification that it will remain a mostly gay male oriented game is good. The reason this is important is because there is an OVERWHELMING presence of female objectification and hetero bias in games. It puts the importance of games like this beyond the scope of appealing to our sexual interests, but instead as a message that not all content needs to cater to the hetero majority or the straight male gaze. For once I would like them to know what it feels like to not be thrown any bones when we have to endure that in all other existing media.
