"Pretenders" Graphic Novel Memoir
Added 2025-02-19 02:48:24 +0000 UTCThe rough pages of the beginning of my "memoir" of my time at the beginning of the 80's and particapation of the Minneapolis music scene, through a series of lip synching contest at First Avenue (made film famous by Prince.) Contestants could portray any musician or group, but not use real instruments, instead use handmade props or household objects. Yes, that's what I looked like in '81. Friends and I competed in weekly contests leading up to a grand prize finale.
