2021-01-02 00:28:44 +0000 UTCI feel like there is sort of a double Hearts & Iron type of story progression here. The first is John and Carl as a kind of athletic power couple who have reasonably realistic adventures dealing with the vicissitudes and pleasures of modern day gay life (and sometimes popping a gay stereotype or two along the way). The other story is more like John is a superhero and there is all this shadowy government stuff and John is doing superhuman feats like wrestling tanks and getting turned on by being pelted with gunfire (and stopping the attack with the resulting orgasm). I love these guys in both modes. I like this more realistic story of taking this new guy and showing him the possibilities of life. Where is the story? Is he grateful, does he develop such a crush on Carl that he insinuates himself into their relationship, does he find a true love of his own and follow in John's and Carl's giant footsteps, does he fall into a bad crowd and need rescuing, or something else. It all has intriguing possibilities to me!!!
