Mid-week update: The Release Is Near

I know it′s been quite a while, but the time has finally come to announce a release date for Chapter 2.2.
First of all, I want to let all of you know what to expect in the upcoming release. The main focus will be the introduction of two factions within your kingdom that will influence your capital and its citizens. The Inquisition and their counterpart, the Pleasure Cults. The latter consists of people that strive to gain more pleasure than they can attain through more traditional means, meanwhile the Inquisition is fighting them as they see demonic influences in them. These two factions will come with new laws, new buildings and more than two dozen events in Chapter 2.2!
The idea behind these two new factions and overall story direction is this – what do you do when there is no clear correct decision? When the line between right or wrong blurs and both sides are causing their own kind of misery?
I hope that my writers and I managed to accomplish injecting these themes in the world of XXXivilization – you’ll be able to find out on your own next Tuesday, the 21st of April!
