Deciding XXXivilization's Near Future

Now that Version 17 is finished, the next big step is going to be the Chapter 2 update of XXXivilization. And I′ll just be honest with you: Chapter 2 is going to take a while to develop.
My current estimate is about 3 months from now. Of course, I plan to keep everyone updated on my progress with regular update posts, but I understand it’s still a long time frame for a Patreon-based project and I don′t want you to feel that without game updates in between that patrons aren’t getting anything for their money.
However, that being said, the support does help. I can pay my writer, I can buy resources for 3D renders, and so on.
So, I’ve come up with two options. I can deliver one or two small updates in-between Version 17 and Chapter 2 to shorten the waiting time – which will cause Chapter 2 to take a bit longer to come to fruition. Or I can fully focus on Chapter 2 and invest all my effort there, which will leave you without an update for a few months.
I’ve decided to leave the decision up to you all via this poll. I’m making it available to the public because I’m interested in seeing what patrons and non-patrons alike have to say. If it’s too close to call, I’ll redo it with just patrons.

Hey man, love the game and if you need 3 months to make it better then go for it. Just keep us updated

2019-06-04 06:55:01 +0000 UTCI say go fully into developing chapter 2. But just keep us updated on your progress. I would rather wait and play an awesome and 'new' chapter 2 than small and frequent tidbits of gameplay.

2019-06-03 21:09:35 +0000 UTCMy advice: keeping in touch with your players will help with feedback and bug fixes. Though slower I think the smaller update path would be more effective
2019-06-03 19:58:55 +0000 UTCI'll admit to not keeping up to date on your game, but I'd say it might be prudent to keep a small minimalistic support on 1 at least until you get a good chunk of 2 done.
