VHS_FIEND - After Effects Project File

I got Signal and have been having lots of fun with it! I just wanted to get an authentic vhs look and Signal did the trick.
You can mix and match a lot of effects to go with it! I would suggest tweaking the Glow to your liking.
One thing to note, I rendered the project with these settings. As you can see the resolution is set to Quarter as well as the fps turned down to 24:
Just import your image into the composition and copy the Effect Controls of the Dummy Image provided then paste them onto your desired image.

Hey! Try out different resolutions if you must. I had no issue with mine looking vintage-y with resolution set to Quarter. You can adjust the sharpness in the Signal settings as well!

2024-10-10 06:02:52 +0000 UTCHeyyy, I got signal to work but for whatever reason exporting/rendering half of the effects or the resolution of the effect changes. It looks much sharper than AE workspace, did you have this issue?
