Elliot Model Completed
Added 2024-09-30 10:13:44 +0000 UTCI apologize for the lack of posts here, for almost all of this month I was sidelined by a pretty awful family emergency and spent a lot of time working offline. I'd rather not put it out in the open but you can read up on that in the Discord (message me for an invite if you'd like one!), where I threw all of these WIP's at the time they were worked on.
Anyway Elliot's model was finished early in the month :D It has a range of emotes, toggle-able shirt & pants and a cloak with numerous alternative skins, an alternate hairstyle, a custom animation to roll into a ball & custom AFK naptime (see attached), transitions for putting on the clothes, and sprites for the menus. Lots of fun working on this, I got to learn some new stuff like cloth physics.

Aaaa You're right on both! :D It has cloth physics and its native form is mostly upside down like a cone-of-shame/funnel. This encourages it to fall into place as it slowly reveals, making it appear to be movingβwhile at the same time avoiding the jankiness that might come with trying to shape it to where the body would be handling it in T-pose. It took quite a bit of trial and error to decide on doing it this way but am happy with the results
